Hats On for Toronto Fashion Week

But also...hats off! Although I decided to keep my hat on for the last day of shows. I also decided to wear gold sparkly tights and floral shorts, sometimes these ideas just come to me and I don't fight it.

I bought this Royal Stetson hat at one of my favorite vintage stores in my hometown, called Lovely Betty, it's always chock full of the most amazing vintage pieces! Apart from seeing my family and friends, Lovely Betty is one of my favorite parts of going home for a visit.

The last day of shows at Toronto Fashion Week did not dissapoint! The weather (again) was absolutely amazing which made street style watching that much more enjoyable.

Have you seen any Toronto Fashion Week runway styles yet? Do you have any favorite lines?

Toronto Fashion Week

Toronto Fashion Week comes to an end today *sad face* but stay tuned for my blog post for Corduroy Magazine on my fave picks of the week! Speaking of Fashion Weeks, have you seen my NYFW blog post for Corduroy yet? In the spirit of Fashion Week, I figured I would post my look from Day 2 where I attended Laura Siegel, Chloe Comme Parris and Martin Lim. All in all a fabulous day at the tents!

Who says you can't be decked out in full H&M for Fashion Week? And no need for a jacket! The weather in Toronto has been unseasonably marvelous.

Now it's off to my last show of the week! xoxo

Perfectly Patterned

If you're one of my groupies, then you may recognize these shorts from my time on the MMVA Red Carpet as the H&M Fashion Blogger. Needless to say, they hold a very special place in my heart.

I wore this outfit to pre-shop Marni for H&M last Wednesday (stay tuned for a post on what I got!) I wore flat shoes, because I meant business. No 4-inch heels were going to hinder me from getting what I wanted!

Although I loved pairing them with a bright pop of color on the Red Carpet, this time I opted for a black top and made it pop with my necklace instead!

Blonde Envy: Marni for H&M Pre-shop

Last night I had the fortune of attending the pre-shopping event for Marni at H&M (which was absolute insanity). I can't wait to show off what I got! This brings me to my latest case of Blonde Envy, the always lovely  Emily Scarlett of H&M (standing in front of some pretty bare looking shelves) . Her style always surprises me in the most delightful way! How amazing to pair leopard print socks with a lime green dress. Perfection!

Part in Parcel

It seems like forever since I've done an actual outfit post. Probably because it HAS been forever! Since getting back from NYFW my world has been a blur of events and job applications (not that I mind the events part) so I've barely had time to A) get dressed and B) snap pics when I finally am dressed. So without further ado, here's what I wore to last night's M for Mendocino Spring Launch event!

I haven't rocked a middle part since probably grade 5, so this was a huge trip down memory lane for me. I've been wanting to re-debut a middle part for some time now, but it never really looked right until now! Is it because my roots are growing in horrendously? You be the judge.

I am in love with my ASOS polka dot jeggings. I bought them about 3 years ago and still haven't gotten sick of them! They always put a little fun into my outfits, just when I need it most.

Off to M for Mendocino I go!

M for Mendocino: Spring Trends

Last night I attended the spring launch for M for Mendocino which took place at their retail store in First Canadian Place. The atmoshpere was bubbly, bright and fun, just like many of the spring trends! Brand Director, Jessica Kaplan, gave a great presentation on what to watch for this spring, and how you can create many of those trends at M for Mendocino! A fun fact: Mendocino was started in Toronto! Here's a look at some of my favorite looks from last night:

In love with this look!

Too delicious not to post

What are your thoughts on these spring trends? I love the bold colors, vintage looks and patterns!
